Business Analyst - Prime Video, Amazon Video WW Optim Ops

Are you interested in using Data to improve the customer experience at Amazon? We are looking for a Business Analyst to support the Prime Videos Customer and Marketing Analytics team. In this role you will influence systems and frameworks leveraged by end customers and multiple cross-functional teams. You will apply both business and process acumen in a fast-paced, ambiguous and innovative environment. He/she has deep knowledge in data analysis and is able to wrangle the expected data from any data source.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:

Data Operations and Transformation: Data Ingestion, Data Transformation, Data Comparison, Data Validation, and Data Monitoring from multiple systems.

Creating and managing ETL jobs, troubleshooting, and resolving any issues during execution.

Extracting data from multiple systems using SQL queries and ETL jobs based on support ticket requests.

Incident Management and Support: Monitoring the health of data sources and ETL pipeline infrastructure through dashboards.

Proactively identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents within defined SLAs to ensure uninterrupted data operations.

Responding to and resolving support tickets by conducting root cause analysis and delivering timely solutions.

Insights and Analysis:Diving deep into large datasets to identify patterns, gap areas, and opportunities for improvement using SQL, Excel, and other data manipulation tools.

Operational Excellence: Continuously improving monitoring tools and processes to ensure data reliability and scalability.

Providing on-call support for critical systems and incidents, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.

Basic Qualifications

1+ years of data analytics or automation experience

1+ years of capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar experience

Bachelor's degree

Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL

Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level

Experience with data mining tools like SQL, SAS, SPSS, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of SQL
