About This Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional in Outside Sales to join our

Automated Logic

team. Participates in various Outside Sales activities and customer relationship management. Responsible for representing the company's interests and building business relationships to enhance outside sales performance. The territory for this position will be Northern New Jersey or Long Island. The ideal person will be living in New Jersey, Long Island, or the 5 boroughs of NYC.

Role Responsibilities:

Develop long-term relationships and build partnerships with assigned Eng, GC and Contractor accounts.

Position Automated Logic (ALC) as the preferred basis of building automation design.

Perform take-offs and bid projects with the full spectrum of ALC offerings. Drive design.

Drive specifications towards all ALC offerings with assigned consulting engineers.

Work with consulting engineers to write project specification proposal to match the building specifications to provide value to the customer, and favorably position Automated Logic.

Negotiate with contractors regarding scope of work, specifications, pricing, and favorable terms and conditions.

Help to train, develop, and coach other sales representatives.

Make and deliver compelling presentations to owners and owner representative.

Utilize sales tools effectively to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunities within accounts.

Generate a high level of activity to feed the sales pipeline and manage opportunities to successfully move them through the sales cycle to close.

Collaborate and communicate effectively with external customers and internal staff to deliver quality results and ensure customer satisfaction.

Act as customers advocate.

Role Purpose

To drive new BMS installations outside our current end user base.

To develop relationships with Des/Cons engineers, GCs and Contractors to grow our plan & spec sales for new end users

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.

2+ years of sales experience selling construction plan and spec BMS projects working with area design engineers and contractors.

2+ years of BMS estimating experience.

Must possess a Valid Driver?s License.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree.

BMS project management experience.

Demonstrate strong organizational, analytical and problems solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Ability to adhere to company policies and processes.

Team collaboration.

Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills.

Microsoft Office Suite.

Self-motivated and organized to achieve annual goals and objectives.
