Automotive Timekeeper

Rallye Mercedes, Long Island's premier Mercedes Benz dealership, has an immediate opportunity for Automotive Timekeeper in our Service Department! Seeking an experienced automotive professional who is eager to join an organization whose values are based in: family, teamwork, kindness & expertise!

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Code Warranty claims per Mercedes Benz Policy and procedures.
• Consult Shop Manager or Warranty Administrator for warranty policies.
• Populate estimates according to official book time.

• Keep track of technician clock time and diagnostic uploads.
• Mentor technicians of correct notations, time recording and policy.
• Stay updated with latest Recalls, Campaigns and Documents.
• Check part numbers to make sure time is written correctly for each part.
• Make sure diagnosis time comes before part time on a repair order
• Calculate total technician time tickets at the end of the day and return to the Service Director.

PAY RANGE: $55,000-$70,000 ANNUALLY

Requirements

• Clean & valid Driver's License.
• 2+ years of automotive timekeeper or warranty experience.
• Mercedes Benz Service experience preferred.
• Basic automotive technical knowledge and previous automotive dealership experience.
• Working knowledge of CDK & MPI systems.
