Auto Mechanic / Lube Technician

Prestage Farms is looking for a dedicated Auto Mechanic / Lube Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will perform essential services such as oil changes, fluid checks, and general vehicle maintenance. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that our fleet operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine oil changes, lubrication, and fluid changes on company vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles to identify issues and communicate findings for necessary repairs.
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, battery checks, and brake inspections.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while adhering to safety protocols.
• Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.Repair minor vehicle issues as they arise.

Requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in automotive maintenance or as a lube technician preferred.
• Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and repair techniques.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift/move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to operate a 4WD truck, tractor and trailer.
