As the Auto Body Production Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our auto body repair and restoration shop, ensuring that each project meets Universal Motorcars? high standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. You will manage a team of skilled technicians and work closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs and customizations.

This is a full-time, hands-on position that requires leadership, technical expertise, and a strong understanding of the auto body repair process.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Production Manager to join our team and help oversee the efficient and high-quality production of repairs and restorations.

Responsibilities:

Lead and Supervise: Manage and motivate a team of auto body technicians, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.

Production Management: Oversee the production flow of all auto body repairs and restorations, from intake to completion, ensuring timely and accurate work.

Quality Control: Ensure that all vehicles meet Universal Motorcars? high-quality standards before delivery to customers, including conducting final inspections of completed work.

Scheduling & Planning: Coordinate daily production schedules and ensure timely completion of projects. Manage workflow to optimize shop efficiency and reduce downtime.

Inventory & Parts Management: Oversee the ordering and management of parts and materials required for repairs. Ensure inventory is stocked and well-maintained.

Customer Communication: Maintain clear communication with customers and service advisors regarding project progress, timelines, and any issues that may arise.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with company safety standards and all relevant regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with luxury or exotic vehicle repairs.

Knowledge of the latest auto body repair technologies and techniques.

Familiarity with shop management software.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the auto body repair industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques, equipment, and materials.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team, manage production schedules, and ensure high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to delivering top-tier craftsmanship.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both with team members and customers.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly resolve issues that may arise during production.

Work Ethic: A hands-on approach with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
