Assurance Manager

Elite Sourcing LLC is partnering with a leading accounting firm to find a highly experienced and talented Assurance Manager to join their team. As an Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading the assurance engagements, ensuring the quality and accuracy of financial statements, and providing valuable insights and recommendations to clients. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

In this role, you will oversee a team of auditors, plan and execute assurance engagements, review financial statements and supporting documentation, and develop strong client relationships. You will also stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulatory changes, and provide guidance and training to junior team members. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly knowledgeable in assurance methodology and standards, and has excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Manage and oversee assurance engagements, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review and analyze financial statements, audit working papers, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients to improve internal controls and financial reporting processes.
• Lead and mentor a team of auditors, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and auditing standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of audit methodologies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in assurance services or external auditing.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards.
• Experience managing and leading assurance engagements.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple engagements.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in audit software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
