Associate Veterinarian

We are looking for a F/T, P/T associate doctor to join our team. New graduates and the experienced are both welcome. If you need a mentor, you will get one.

We are a small animal practice that sees dogs, cats and exotics. Digital X-ray, digital dental x-ray, paperless medical software, full array of blood work/urinalysis machines, full dental suite, K laser and ultrasound are what we offer to name a few.

Our team members are friendly, efficient, and many of them cross-trained. We have been in the heart of the Simi Valley for 40+ years. Simi Valley is a great community with easy access from downtown Los Angeles, Thousand Oaks, San Fernando and Westlake Village. Our clients are dedicated to their pets and treat them as family members.

Here are what we would like to see from our associate doctor:

- Great communication skill, Likable personality, Good bedside manner and Punctuality

- Decent foundation on surgical and medical knowledge. Not a problem if she's a new graduate but no backyard medicine is welcome here. We practice highest quality medicine only.

- He/She focuses on best interest in patients. Money follows. Not vice versa.

- He/She needs to be willing to keep up with new technology and medicines at the expense of his/her own time so she can provide the best care possible to our patients.

- Company may require him/her to focus on developing one specific area so that it can expand its service.

- Business hours may change as he/she comes aboard.

- He/She participates in practice development programs. She must understand her employment is not always dollar to dollar and she's expected to contribute to the practice and help it grow as part of her compensation.
