Associate - Litigation

The Austin, TX office of Maynard Nexsen, a full-service law firm with more than 550 attorneys across 24 offices nationwide, seeks an Associate with 2-6 years' experience to assist their growing Litigation Team. We are looking for a dynamic junior to mid-level associate with litigation experience to join our practice. Candidates should be a graduate from a top law school, possess excellent written and oral advocacy skills, and have a strong desire to gain firsthand experience in every stage of litigation in state and federal court. Our litigation practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, real estate disputes, construction litigation, and class-action matters. These cases involve all possible aspects of complex litigation including multiple parties, competing venues, extensive discovery, and nuanced strategy.? This is a fast-paced workplace with ample opportunity to learn through firsthand experience how complex commercial cases are developed, prepared, run, and tried. Clerkship, law journal, mock trial/moot court, clinic, and fellowship experience are a plus. Candidates admitted to practice in Texas (or the ability to become admitted in Texas quickly) are strongly preferred.
