Associate - Insurance Erisa Litigation

Maynard Nexsen, a full-service law firm with more than 550 nearly 600 attorneys across 31 locations nationwide, seeks an Associate with over 3 years of experience to assist its growing ERISA Insurance Litigation Team. Ideal candidate will be situated in one of our Southeastern office locations.

The Firm offers an opportunity for a litigation associate to support a dynamic insurance practice group with an emphasis on life, health and disability insurance as well as ERISA.? The right candidate will have at least three to four years of hands-on litigation experience and will possess strong analytical and writing skills.?

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess 3+ years of experience in hands-on litigation in a law firm setting;

• Experience in life, health and disability insurance as well as ERISA is preferred;

• Working knowledge of state and federal court practice and procedures;

• Strong writing, communication and oral advocacy skills; deposition and courtroom experience a plus;

• Ability to manage multiple case projects and deadlines and to work independently;

• Strong academic credentials, superior research skills and excellent analytical skills;

• Judicial clerkship or externship a plus.
