Associate - Finance

Title: Associate

Role overview:

As an Associate - Finance, you should have a foundational understanding of accounting and finance processes, with a keen interest in fintech operations. This role offers hands-on experience in financial reconciliation, interdepartmental coordination, and day-to-day finance operations.

How you will create impact:

Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing daily bank reconciliations.
• Support basic accounting entries and transaction recording.
• Help manage intercompany transactions and related documentation.
• Provide support in handling accounts payable processes.
• Assist in managing accounts receivable.
• Work with NetSuite ERP (prior knowledge preferred but not required).
• Use Excel for data entry, basic analysis, and reporting.
• Coordinate with auditors to support bank confirmation processes.
• Participate in general ledger reconciliation tasks.
• Communicate with internal departments to help resolve daily operational issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of partner reconciliations.

Essential qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Interest in fintech and ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
