About This Role

Entry-level Electrical and Electronics professional who troubleshoots technical and electrical device problems, operates engineering software and equipment, and confers with stakeholders regarding engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Embedded Hardware and/or Software design (mentored by a senior engineer).

Support new product introduction with prototype and pre-production builds.

Work as part of a team to complete end of line test updates for new or modified controls.

Provide sustaining support to manufacturing for end of life component issues.

Gain an understanding of the basics of Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment operation.

Root cause analysis and failure mitigation of quality issues.

Participate in design tasks and product reviews.

Learn basic principles relating to regulatory and governmental HVAC safety requirements.

Interface with team members, customers, and suppliers to support new control designs.

Approximately 5% domestic and international travel as required to support engineering programs and electronics manufacturing objectives.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering Technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

Pre-existing HVAC experience/knowledge.

Internship or work experience handling embedded Hardware and/or Software design.
