We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Associate Director Generative AI to lead our AI innovation efforts and drive strategic initiatives across products and platforms. This role is ideal for a seasoned AI professional with a deep understanding of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies, strong business acumen, and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our AI strategy, fostering collaboration across departments, and ensuring that AI-driven solutions deliver business impact at scale.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:
  Develop and lead the organization's Generative AI roadmap, aligning with broader business goals and innovation strategies. Partner with senior leadership to drive AI-driven digital transformation across functions.
• Team Management:
  Build, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams of AI scientists, ML engineers, data scientists, and product managers. Foster a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• AI Solution Design & Delivery:
  Lead the design, development, and deployment of GenAI-powered solutions using technologies such as LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA), transformers, diffusion models, and prompt engineering. Ensure models are scalable, secure, ethical, and production-ready.
• Research & Innovation:
  Stay abreast of the latest developments in the GenAI space. Identify emerging trends, assess their applicability, and integrate them into the AI strategy. Encourage adoption of cutting-edge research into practical solutions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, compliance, and legal teams to ensure AI solutions meet both functional and regulatory requirements. Translate complex technical concepts into strategic insights for business stakeholders.
• Governance & Risk Management:
  Establish responsible AI frameworks and standards to ensure compliance with data privacy, fairness, transparency, and model interpretability. Monitor risk and ensure alignment with ethical AI principles.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field; a Ph.D. is a plus.
• 1418 years of industry experience in data science, machine learning, and AI, with at least 35 years focused on Generative AI.
• Deep expertise in LLMs, NLP, transformer architectures, and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Proven experience in building and deploying GenAI applications (chatbots, content generation, code generation, etc.) at scale.
• Strong understanding of MLOps, model lifecycle management, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to articulate complex AI topics to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in scaling AI initiatives within large organizations or high-growth tech companies.
• Publications or patents in the field of Generative AI or related areas.
• Prior experience in working with open-source LLMs and fine-tuning models for domain-specific use cases.
