Job Description

Boyd, Richards, a multi-state law firm focusing on complex commercial disputes seeks an experienced and professional full-time attorney with 3-25 years of experience. The firm has offices in Miami, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. The attorney would be responsible for managing a caseload through trial and oversee and assist in management of cases. Experience in a diverse volume of litigation involving professional liability, director & officer liability, legal malpractice, architect & engineer, labor and employment law, construction defect, and commercial litigation would be helpful. Responsibilities: Managing cases from inception. Attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials Preparing pleadings, discovery/discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents Preparing timely reports to insurance carriers and clients regarding case status and ongoing activities Ability to prioritize work load based on deadlines Communicating effectively with attorneys and paralegal Required Skills: Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills Ability to interact with attorneys, paralegals, court personnel, opposing counsel, clients, and office staff in a professional manner Ability to delegate and prioritize as necessary Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Knowledge of ProLaw and Acuity are a plus Required Qualifications: Member in Good Standing of the Florida Bar Qualified candidates please submit resumes to recruiting@boydlawgroup.com Contact
