Job Description

Our Washington DC Metro office is seeking an associate attorney to join our team. This position is ideal for third-year law students graduating in 2025, recent graduates, or attorneys with at least 0-1 years of some experience who have technical background in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or electrical engineering. Harness IP offers a Hybrid work environment. Candidates should possess the following qualifications and minimum education requirements: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school (2025 graduates are encouraged to apply). Admission to the DC and/or VA state bar (or eligibility to sit for the bar exam upon graduation). Undergraduate or advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Electrical Engineering (required). Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
