Assistant Manager Purchasing

The Global Procurement team of a leading IT company invites application for Puracasing manager in Manpower/Services Team to support the Enterprise.

Procurement Services: Involved in activities like RFP/RFQ, offer receipt, Evaluation of

Vendor Packages, Techno-commercial evaluation, Benchmarking, Negotiation, Finalization

of order, contracting strategy,release purchase order/work order etc.

Leverage the spend and deliver annual savings through negotiations and innovative supply

strategies.

Empanel in best in class suppliers in services procurement area and help them to grow their

business with Wipro.

Negotiate contracts and ensure Wipro's interest are protected in the market place.

Develop & analyze various options and present alternative solutions to sourcing needs.

Able to do internal process mapping and develop improvement plans.

Responsible for supplier relationship & performance management, Partner with the business

leadership & clients to enable short and long term strategies.

Ensure all the strategies and subsequent procurement are done in accordance with the

procurement policy.

Ability to learn new technologies and able to do change management effectively.

Conduct RFPs to determine the right supplier and ensure the best overall value is obtained

for the company.

Stakeholder expectation management.

Cross functional collaboration with finance and other functions.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, minimum at

experienced level.

Requirements

Experience in Purchasing & Contracting of IT Hardware and Software Products & Services,

Telecom, Manpower, International Facilities management etc.

Drive global/regional supply strategies for Europe Geography

Global Sourcing experience

Knowledge of Source to pay process

Knowledge of ERP, INCO Terms, taxes etc

Develop and implement global procurement strategy to achieve cost savings, improve

quality and ensure timelu deliveries.

Supplier Management -Negotiate contractual terms with suppliers aligning to organizational

objectives.
