Assistant Controller

• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly financial statements and reports.
• Support the Controller in managing the monthly close process and preparing financial analysis.
• Enhance and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation for audits, including gathering necessary documentation and information.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for various projects.
• Monitor and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations relevant to the industry.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with internal stakeholders.
