Assistant Accountant (Arabic Proficiency)

Job Brief:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support our Receivable and Payable sections. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our accounting team and streamline financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring valuable experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, and demonstrate proficiency in Oracle accounting software. As a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and resolving discrepancies efficiently

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable sections.
• Manage the processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
• Perform regular reconciliation of accounts to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and clients regarding invoices and payments.
• Support the team in ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Utilize Oracle accounting software for various accounting tasks and reporting.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures as needed.
• Identify and help resolve financial discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Minimum 3 years' experience
• Basic Arabic proficiency
• Proven experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and relevant financial regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience working with Oracle accounting software is highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
