Tube Assembly operators perform day to day production activities by using most current procedures to maintain production schedules.

Essential Functions:

Wear required PPE to fullfill shift duties: smock, hairnet, gloves, facemask, and safety glasses

Use hand tools, spot welders, microscopes, and other manufacturing equipment to assemble products using detailed documented procedures

Follow all policies, procedures, and drawings for accuracy and quality

Perform visual checks of product to assure quality

Identify non-conforming parts following documented procedures

Meet manufacturing output requirements while producing high quality products

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or equivalent with 0-3 years prior experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

Ability to move 3-5 lbs. and complete repeat tasks

Must be able to remain stationary for long periods of time

High level of attention to detail

Good historical attendance record with minimal unscheduled call offs

Self-driven to complete goals and tasks as require

Ability to work alone and with others in a team environment under minimal supervision to accomplish department goals

Must have strong problem solving, analytical skills, adaptability, and flexibility

Must have good computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, email)

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to read drawings/blueprints/work instructions
