Arts Education and Enrichment Aftercare Instructor

• Implement educational and recreational activities focused on arts education, including music, visual arts, and creative movement.
• Develop and execute a curriculum that supports the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children through artistic expression.
• Assist children with arts-related projects and activities.
• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the facility at all times.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children's progress and behavior.
• Manage student behavior and resolve conflicts in a positive manner.
• Provide appropriate supervision for children at all times.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents.
• Facilitate various arts activities for children, including songs, games, and storytelling.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure the classroom environment is well organized and maintained in the same condition as when the program started.
• Foster a nurturing environment that promotes social-emotional learning and character development.
• Implement activities and lessons that encourage empathy, cooperation, and respect among children.
• Use positive reinforcement and modeling to teach children about self-regulation, responsibility, and kindness.
• Create opportunities for children to practice problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Support children in developing a strong sense of self and confidence in their abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Experience in early childhood education or a related field is preferred
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children.
• Develop and implement creative curriculum for the after-school program.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure positive outcomes for students.
