About Us:

ASHE Converting Equipment are leading manufacturer of slitting and rewinding machinery which are supplied worldwide. The company have been operating for over 40 years and during this time installed over 1250 machines throughout the world. The slitting and rewinding machines offered by the company are suitable for most flexible material applications.

The machines supplied are for both wide web applications and narrow web.

The company is a family-owned organization and operate from their main head office located in Ipswich, United Kingdom, with a subsidiary in USA. Along with this the company work with a recognized network of sales agents throughout the world.

Due to a recent expansion and continued demand for our products we are looking to increase our sales network and have an opening for a sales manager who would be based in North America.

Responsibilities:

The selected candidate would be responsible for maintaining relationships with our existing customer base and gaining new customers who are users of slitting and rewinding machinery. The candidate would give guidance on the correct machines from our portfolio to the user, starting with making initial contact, detailing specifications, sending quotations, scheduling meetings and after sales support including spare part requests.

The candidate would be expected to travel extensively to meet with customers and attend any trade fairs the company may need them for, within North America or Europe.

Renumeration:

Depending on experience, we offer an annual salary and commission along with health insurance and other benefits.

Requirements

Experience:

The correct candidate would have extensive experience in technical sales, preferably in the converting industry, whether that be in wide web, narrow web, or both. The applicant should have a professional approach when making contact with new and existing customers, along with the ability to work as a team and individually.

Excellent communication skills are required along with creating and delivering presentations to customers.
