We operate out of designated retail locations ? where it's convenient for our customers ? helping facilitate the delivery and return of customer orders.

About the Role

We are looking for an Area Manager who can bring Amazon?s customer obsession to life. You will manage the end-to-end operations for multiple locations and lead a team of shift leaders to delight customers. You will play a vital role in maintaining a vibrant team culture based on customer obsession, trust, respect, continuous learning, and fun.

In this role, you will:

Manage a team of shift leads and associates, including hiring and onboarding new team members, directing work, managing performance, providing regular feedback, and supporting career development and employee growth.

Manage and delegate daily operations to drive exceptional results, including executing standard operating procedures, identifying areas of improvement, implementing solutions, and providing ongoing training where needed.

Own the customer experience for your locations by maintaining a strong culture built on Customer Obsession and Amazon?s Leadership Principles.

Measure key performance indicators to drive performance metrics, manage inputs that deliver results,

and convey performance results for regular business reviews.

Spend and prioritize time across multiple sites and invest in development of direct reports to ensure strong leadership in the stores.

Create and maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment to ensure the security of all employees, customers, and packages.

Respond to escalations and provide guidance to associates on what issues should be escalated or resolved on their own.

Commute and/or travel required between 50-75% to multiple sites or locations

Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

You have the ability to lift up to 49 pounds and be on your feet for a shift, up to 10 hours at a time

Basic Qualifications

2+ years of people management leading teams of 20 experience

High school or equivalent diploma

Are 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working independently with minimal supervision

Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and implement effective solutions
