Area Maintenance Technician

Banyan Living is on the lookout for a dedicated Area Maintenance Technician to enhance our team in the Cleveland region. This position involves performing maintenance duties across multiple apartment communities, ensuring that facilities are safe, functional, and comfortable for our residents. The Area Maintenance Technician will play an essential role in managing work orders, conducting regular inspections, and providing high-quality service to maintain the integrity of our properties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in multifamily residential maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems is essential.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance software are a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and performing various physical tasks.
• Reliable transportation required for travel between properties.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
