Application Subject Matter Expert III

Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Application Subject Matter expert for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.

Role Description :

Offers specialized knowledge in the design and functionality of business applications; possesses an understanding of customers' business processes and products to determine optimal support via application systems; reviews and confirms the detailed technical design for business applications submitted by suppliers to ensure alignment with business needs; conducts quality assurance checks on project deliverables; assesses supplier estimates; performs impact analyses of application modifications across various components, maintaining a comprehensive view of the system; estimates the Rough Order of Magnitude for the level of effort and cost associated with new application functionality; specifies and recommends criteria for integration and parallel testing; assists with implementation activities and resolves system environmental issues as necessary.

Job Function :

Understands customer processes and products, aligning them with business unit objectives. Validates technical designs of business applications to meet requirements, assesses supplier estimates, and provides Rough Order of Magnitude estimates for new functionalities. Conducts quality reviews, acts as a liaison between Business and IT, and assists in Business Case development, including cost/benefit analysis and risk assessments. Supports implementation activities, addresses environmental issues, provides training, and performs impact analyses of application changes. Recommends criteria for Integration and Parallel testing.

Qualification

Bachelor's Degree
