AI Literacy Program Coordinator

QuantHub is seeking a detail-oriented and organized K-12 AI Literacy Program Coordinator to support our expanding artificial intelligence education initiatives across Alabama schools. This role will play a key part in preparing America's youth to become leaders in AI technology by coordinating implementation of QuantHub's AI literacy platforms and managing the Alabama Data Scholars internship program. As AI is rapidly transforming how we live and work, this position will help ensure Alabama students develop the skills and understanding necessary to thrive in an AI-driven future.

AI Platform Management & Support

• Manage day-to-day operations of the QuantHub AI Literacy platform, including user account management, content updates, and technical support.
• Monitor platform engagement metrics and generate regular reports on program progress.
• Provide technical assistance to schools implementing AI education, including troubleshooting and coordination with our technical team.
• Create and maintain documentation for platform features, updates, and best practices.
• Support data-driven decision making by collecting, organizing, and analyzing program data.
• Assist with platform enhancements based on educator feedback to improve AI learning outcomes.
• Work with schools to effectively utilize AI tools in education generally, beyond just AI-specific curriculum.

Alabama Data Scholars Internship Program

• Lead coordination and administration of the Alabama Data Scholars internship program, focusing on AI-related work experiences.
• Develop and maintain relationships with participating organizations offering AI-related internship opportunities.
• Manage application and selection process for student participants.
• Create and distribute internship materials, handbooks, and resources focused on AI skill development.
• Schedule and facilitate orientation sessions, workshops, and AI education events.
• Monitor intern progress and provide support to both interns and host organizations.
• Design and implement program evaluation methods to measure impact on AI literacy and career readiness.
• Coordinate recognition events and celebrations highlighting student AI achievements

Project Coordination & Implementation Support

• Work closely with education stakeholders to implement AI literacy programs that foster student interest in AI technology.
• Assist with scheduling and logistics for teacher AI training and professional development sessions.
• Maintain organized documentation of implementation plans, timelines, and school-specific requirements.
• Support adaptation of AI curriculum based on individual school needs and capabilities.
• Assist with alignment of AI curriculum to state standards and the goals of the Presidential AI Challenge.
• Help prepare materials for school presentations showcasing AI education opportunities.
• Coordinate AI-focused engagement campaigns, competitions, and communications.
• Assist with data collection and reporting on AI education outcomes.
• Serve as a point of contact for educators with AI platform or implementation questions.

Requirements

Essential Experience & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, Project Management, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in educational technology
• Understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and applications in education
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency with educational technology platforms and digital learning tools
• Experience with data collection, management, and basic analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools
• Ability to travel within Alabama for school visits, events, and quarterly team retreats

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in K-12 education settings
• Background in AI, computer science, or data science education
• Familiarity with internship program management or student work-based learning initiatives
• Knowledge of current AI educational technology trends
• Experience with learning management systems or educational database management
• Understanding of Alabama education system and standards
• Previous involvement with STEM or AI-related educational initiatives
