After School Teacher

Students at Action Day Elementary School have access to the latest in technology including Apple TV's and iPads. All students are warmly accepted and guided along their educational path throughout our program. Bullying and "slipping through the cracks" simply do not happen at our school due to our small, family-like atmosphere. Students are held to high standards while enjoying school.

Positions Available: After School Teacher at our Elementary School in San Jose: Monday-Friday, 1-6pm

Compensation: $18-24/hr. depending on individual experience, education and position requirements.

As an After School Teacher, you will be leading our elementary school classes in after school activities and hands-on curriculum. Along with ensuring the highest quality of safety and well-being of the students, you will have the opportunity to establish strong classroom management skills, parent relations, and have a blast creating positive, memorable experiences with the children!

Requirements

• Experience with elementary or middle school aged students required

• 12 ECE Units OR Bachelor's Degree required
• Ability to speak and teach basic Spanish is a plus!
• A love and passion for working with young children
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A reliable, can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow!
