Job Title: Accounts Receivable Representative

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Representative for our client a laboratory. As an AR Rep, you will be responsible for managing and resolving outstanding accounts receivable balances. You will work closely with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to ensure timely and accurate payment collection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and reconciling accounts receivable balances
• Identifying and resolving billing errors, discrepancies, and denials
• Contacting insurance companies and following up on outstanding claims
• Investigating and responding to patient inquiries and disputes
• Posting payments and adjustments in the billing system
• Preparing and submitting appeals for denied claims
• Maintaining accurate and organized AR records and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and insurance guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in accounts receivable or medical billing role
• Knowledge of medical billing procedures and insurance guidelines

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
