Job Description
Quaestor's Finance Team is seeking to fill a paid accounting internship role, primarily responsible for assisting with corporate accounting function, financial modeling, and other projects. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate seeking to enhance his / her understanding of corporate and fund level accounting while building marketable accounting skills. Candidates will be well-organized, analytical, self-motivated, resourceful and able to work effectively with all internal functional groups.
Responsibilities:
- Project based initiatives with the accounting team to increase efficiency and build out processes.
- Assisting with research, financial analysis, and record keeping.
- Financial modeling for budgeting and forecasting business needs.
- Reconciliation of data based on multiple sources.
Requirements
- Accounting / finance undergraduate major
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and writing skills
- The highest level of personal integrity and ethical standards
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and a desire to work collaboratively across the organization
