Contract - Hybrid Schedule (2-days per week in Akron, OH)

LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY:

Must currently live close enough to drive to Akron, Ohio 2 days each week.)

Overview:

Jefferson Wells is seeking an

Accounting Consultant

to assist a large manufacturing client of ours with offices in the Akron, OH area. This role will support the day-to-day and close activities.

This will be a contract-consulting position, with an expected duration of at least 6 months or more. Our consultants are hired as W-2 employees and are paid on an hourly basis though our regular weekly payroll.

Specific responsibilities include:


Performing accounting and analysis activities tied to financial statement closing.


Account reconciliation review.


Supporting financial statement consolidation & reporting activities.

The successful candidate will possess:


5+ years of accounting and analysis activities tied to financial statement closing.


Extensive experience in a SOX environment.


Large ERP experience (Oracle or SAP.)
