Accounting Assistant

Onetouch Controls is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our accounting department by performing various administrative and accounting tasks. You will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and have excellent numerical proficiency.

• Assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including invoicing and accounts payable/receivable
• Maintain accurate records in our accounting software
• Prepare and process bank deposits and reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports
• Support the accounting team during audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Handle administrative tasks including data entry and filing of financial documents
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding financial inquiries

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar role
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
