For one of our clients, we are looking for an Account Executive - SLED, remotely from the United States.

In this role, you will lead the sales efforts for State & Local Government (SLED), Higher Education, and K-12 Education customers. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for executing a strategic sales plan to exceed revenue targets, building and nurturing strong relationships with decision-makers, and expanding the company's presence in the SLED sector. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is driven by results.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to increase the company's footprint in the SLED sector, focusing on the Eastern US/Canadian territory.
  • Identify new business opportunities, attend industry events, and establish relationships with prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and uncovering new opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed challenging sales quotas and revenue targets by effectively positioning the company's solutions.
  • Provide consultative support to clients, demonstrating the company's platform to drive adoption and ensure successful onboarding.
  • Track and manage sales activities in CRM systems, maintaining accurate records and updating forecasts.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in SaaS-related B2B sales, EdTech, or GovTech industries.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools for sales tracking and management.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas consistently.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline and develop strategic sales plans.
  • A results-driven mindset with the passion to grow and expand customer accounts.
