Our cutting-edge software solutions help pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, and research organizations optimize their processes, streamline operations, and achieve greater efficiency.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Account Executive for SaaS in the software life sciences sector, you will play a key role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. Your primary focus will be on identifying and acquiring new clients, building strategic partnerships, and promoting our software solutions to the life sciences industry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to generate new leads and opportunities for our SaaS software solutions in the life sciences sector.
  • Identify and target potential clients within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and research sectors through networking, market research, and client referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their specific software needs and aligning our solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized client proposals, presentations, and demonstrations.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory requirements related to SaaS solutions in the life sciences sector.
  • Represent the company in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our software solutions and build brand awareness.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue projections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the SaaS or software industry, preferably in the life sciences sector.
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS solutions and software applications in the life sciences industry.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence clients.
  • Strong network of contacts within the life sciences industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand client needs and propose innovative software solutions.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
