We are looking for a warehouse sorter to join our team. Your main tasks will include sorting and moving packages, receiving shipments, and packing items according to safety guidelines.

To excel in this role, you should have strong organization skills and knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. The ideal candidate will pay close attention to detail and have good hand-eye coordination.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read work orders to determine which items need to be sorted and where to put them.
  • Double-check work orders and item numbers to make sure everything is correct.
  • Physically move items to the designated loading area for delivery.
  • Report any damaged items to your supervisor.
  • Label items with important information, like dates, shipping details, and quantity.
  • Assist with stacking items on delivery pallets.
  • Receive incoming shipments and make sure they are stored in the correct area.
  • Pack and stack items following OSHA standards and company safety protocols.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Forklift license.
  • At least 1 year of experience sorting or stocking items in a warehouse, supermarket, or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of stock management and storage processes.
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety protocols.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and physical ability to lift, carry, and move items.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
