We are currently seeking a motivated and friendly stock clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing and organizing stock in our warehouse and retail stores. This includes receiving deliveries, moving and storing items, and keeping track of inventory levels.
An ideal stock clerk should be physically fit, detail-oriented, and hard-working. Previous experience in a warehouse or retail setting is preferred, as well as knowledge of inventory management and safety protocols.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect deliveries from suppliers
- Check for accuracy and quality of items received
- Transfer stock within the warehouse
- Label items for pricing, storage, and transfer
- Assist with stock-taking activities
- Notify supervisors of inventory levels
- Pack items for storage and display
- Support the warehouse manager with tasks as needed
- Follow safety guidelines at all times
Requirements and Qualifications
