Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with customers by managing product and service delivery.
  • Keep track of customer information using a computer system.
  • Check customer records for regular maintenance and schedule appointments.
  • Create cost estimates, order necessary parts, and schedule service technicians.
  • Explain costs, parts, work, and technicians to customers and management.
  • Meet with customers to understand their needs and communicate them to service technicians.
  • Inform customers of any additional work and costs.
  • Enter repair details into the company's system and prepare instructions and parts lists for service technicians.
  • Check warranties and insurance.
  • Explain the work done and costs to customers when releasing repaired equipment to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior work experience and knowledge of products may be helpful.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of office software.
