We are looking for a skilled senior systems engineer to join our team. Your main duties will include analyzing computer networks, making repairs and upgrades, and finding solutions for technical problems. Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet with management to understand and define system requirements
  • Analyze network data and identify inefficiencies and problems
  • Design and implement network architecture and computer systems infrastructure
  • Manage the development, installation, configuration, and administration of computer systems
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and documentation
  • Monitor computer systems and networks for viruses, malfunctions, and errors
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and find effective solutions
  • Create network analytics, data reports, and operational manuals
  • Train the engineering team on new systems and protocols
  • Stay updated on the latest technology advancements and best practices

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
  • Master's degree may be preferred
  • CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification may be beneficial
  • At least 5 years of experience as a systems engineer
  • Familiarity with operating systems like Linux and UNIX
  • Experience with database management software such as MySQL, Oracle RDBMS, and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl, Ruby, and Python
  • Good understanding of networking protocols like TCP, IP, and OSI models
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
