Job Description

We are seeking a customer-focused senior sales representative to join our team. The main responsibilities of this role include developing a sales plan to track the success of personal sales strategies, staying up-to-date on industry trends, and providing excellent customer service to retain clients. The ideal candidate will also be able to identify customer needs and suggest improvements to our products.

In order to excel as a senior sales representative, you should be driven to meet sales targets and skilled at convincing customers to make purchases. Additionally, you should possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service abilities, and be able to communicate effectively with both customers and other sales team members.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting less experienced sales representatives by answering technical questions during phone calls with customers.
  • Supporting other sales representatives as needed.
  • Finding potential customers through networking, cold-calling, and email communication.
  • Creating and delivering sales presentations to potential and current customers.
  • Preparing regular sales reports and territory plans.
  • Researching competitors' products, pricing, and success to understand customer preferences.
  • Developing creative sales strategies to meet sales goals.
  • Submitting customer orders to the appropriate department for processing.
  • Resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner to maintain their loyalty.
  • Staying updated on industry knowledge by attending workshops and reading professional publications.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Having a Certified Sales Professional (CSP) certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated sales experience.
  • A proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
