We are currently seeking a tech-savvy search engine marketing specialist to manage our PPC marketing campaigns. As an SEM specialist, you will be in charge of conducting keyword research, designing and implementing pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, and tracking the performance of paid advertising.

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of SEM and SEO techniques, as well as strong marketing skills. An exceptional SEM specialist can accurately interpret keyword and ranking research and develop effective marketing campaigns that generate a high return on investment for paid advertising.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design, writing, and marketing teams to define advertising requirements.
  • Conduct market research on keywords, consumer trends, and competitors.
  • Analyze and interpret research and analytics to inform marketing strategy.
  • Create and implement online marketing campaigns to increase search engine returns and website traffic.
  • Manage PPC advertising campaigns and adhere to SEO best practices.
  • Monitor SEM analytics, including redirects, click rates, and customer acquisition rates.
  • Adjust PPC budgets to maximize return on investment for paid ads.
  • Coordinate with designers and writers to ensure content is optimized for SEO.
  • Generate performance reports and analytics for review and presentation.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest search trends, PPC strategies, and SEO best practices.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • At least two years of experience as an SEM specialist or similar role.
  • Proficiency in analytics and PPC platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Facebook Business Manager.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and SEM techniques and best practices.
  • Experience with various search engines, including Google, Bing, and Yahoo.
