Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Create a sales plan by using cold calls, door-to-door sales, and product demonstrations
- Drive along a designated route to sell products and visit regular customers
- Inform existing customers about new product upgrades and introduce new product lines
- Analyze customer behavior and work with the sales team to stay competitive
- Take orders, negotiate sales contracts, and collect payments
- Maintain sales records and meet sales targets, providing regular updates to managers
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient customer service and resolve complaints
- Keep demo materials in good condition
- Keep the sales vehicle clean inside and out
- Perform basic maintenance on the sales vehicle, such as checking tire pressure and gas and oil levels
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in marketing is a plus
- At least 2 years of experience as a sales representative in a related industry is preferred
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Proficiency in sales software, such as HubSpot and Freshsales
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work with various stakeholders
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Availability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays
