Job Description

We are currently seeking a patient and dedicated rehab aide to join our team and provide support with both physical and administrative tasks at our clinic. The main responsibilities of this role include maintaining the treatment area, preparing for therapy sessions, assisting with the movement of immobile patients, and completing administrative duties.

To be successful in this role, a rehab aide should be physically fit, highly detail-oriented, and able to work well in a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also important, as well as the ability to handle both patient care and clerical tasks with ease.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting therapists with transporting and preparing patients for treatments.
  • Preparing supplies and equipment and setting up treatment rooms for therapy sessions.
  • Cleaning equipment and treatment rooms before and after therapy sessions.
  • Maintaining equipment and notifying the therapist of any issues.
  • Performing routine, non-clinical patient care tasks.
  • Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies, keeping stock areas clean and organized.
  • Completing paperwork and updating patient files.
  • Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and responding to patient inquiries.
  • Managing the reception desk, greeting patients, scheduling treatments, and coordinating therapist and treatment room schedules.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • CPR certification may be beneficial.
  • Previous clerical or clinical experience may be helpful.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in data entry and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • A caring and compassionate demeanor.
