Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviewing existing contracts to make sure they are still working for us.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers and vendors.
  • Approving purchase orders and making sure goods and services are delivered on time.
  • Evaluating potential contracts and agreements for any risks.
  • Managing our procurement budget and finding ways to save money in the long-term.
  • Overseeing our IT systems for tracking shipments, inventory, and supply.
  • Creating procurement reports.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
  • Previous experience managing supply chain operations.
  • Experience using supply chain management software like Oracle, SAP Ariba, or Envision.
  • Knowledge of contract preparation and negotiation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
