Job Description
We are seeking an attentive physical therapist assistant to assist physical therapists with their sessions. The physical therapist assistant's main responsibilities include massaging patients, setting up therapy equipment, and sanitizing treatment areas.
To excel in this role, you must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to lift and move patients with mobility issues.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Massage and stretch muscles as needed
- Set up therapy equipment
- Sanitize treatment areas
- Lift and move patients
- Monitor patients during sessions
- Guide patients through exercises
- Educate patients and their families on post-therapy care
Requirements and Qualifications
- Certification from a physical therapist assistant program
- Valid physical therapist assistant license
- High school diploma or equivalent
