Job Description

We are looking for someone who pays close attention to detail to work as an order selector. This person will be responsible for filling customer orders and making sure they are accurate. The order selector's job includes selecting, storing, packing, and monitoring inventory, as well as helping with shipping and transportation. This job can be physically demanding and may require traveling to different warehouse locations.

In order to be a good order selector, you should have strong organizational and teamwork skills. You should also be physically fit, able to use warehouse equipment, and aware of your surroundings when moving items in a busy warehouse.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read customer orders carefully.
  • Find and select the correct items in the warehouse for each order.
  • Use forklifts and other equipment to stack and prepare orders for shipping.

  • Check orders visually to make sure they are correct and ready to ship.

  • Wrap orders in shrink wrap before shipping.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an order selector is helpful.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and basic computer skills.
  • License to use forklifts or other equipment.
  • Good mechanical skills for using machinery.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
