Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Regularly inspect sites to identify any maintenance issues.
- Create and manage weekly maintenance schedules based on projected workloads.
- Hire, train, and supervise workers.
- Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all repairs are completed on time.
- Maintain inventory and equipment and ensure proper storage.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and practices.
- Perform preventative maintenance work.
- Follow up on all maintenance and repair work.
- Conduct scheduled safety inspections.
- Create strategies to meet workload demands on time.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures, and maintenance.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Effective budgeting and performance management skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in email, MS Office, and other communication tools.
- Good time management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
