Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Look at how we do things and figure out what's working well and what needs improvement
- Analyze data about our supply chain and find potential risks
- Create affordable solutions to make our logistical processes more efficient
- Show our senior managers your improvement plans and get their approval
- Talk to different managers, employees, and departments about the changes and help them learn how to do things better
- Make sure the changes are put into practice and provide support and guidance
- Improve communication with our customers, vendors, and suppliers
- Evaluate how well the changes are working and make adjustments if needed
- Keep track of your plans, set deadlines, and make sure everything is going according to schedule
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related field
- A master's degree in business administration is preferred
- At least two years of experience as a logistics consultant in a similar industry
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain management
- Experience using database tools and business management software, like Odoo and NetSuite
- Great analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
