Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with managers to create policies and standards for loans.

- Get and review financial information, like credit history and bank statements.
- Decide to approve or reject loan applications, or send them to someone else for verification.
- Make payment plans with people who have missed loan payments.
- Keep track of loans that are not being paid and take action if needed.
- Hire, train, and manage people in the loan department.
- Keep records of all loan documents, agreements, and communication.
- Stay updated on important financial rules and regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in loan consulting, sales, customer service, or banking.
- Experience using loan software like The Loan Office or LoanPro.
- Expert knowledge of financial rules and lender requirements.
- Experience talking to and advising people who want loans.
- Experience reviewing loan applications and financial information.
- Ability to work with managers and supervise people in the loan department.
- Expert problem-solving skills for missed loan payments and other issues.
- Good record-keeping and communication skills.
