Job Description

We are looking for a licensed life insurance agent to join our team. As a life insurance agent, you will provide advice, act as a middleman between clients and insurance companies, and sell life insurance policies that pay out a sum of money to beneficiaries upon the death of the insured person.

To be successful in this role, you will need to provide excellent customer service by maintaining and expanding our client base through active marketing and social media efforts. You will also be responsible for conducting a thorough analysis of each client's needs to ensure they are recommended the right type of insurance product.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and recommend insurance products to clients
  • Act as an intermediary between clients and insurance companies
  • Maintain and retain clients by providing excellent customer service
  • Expand our customer base through marketing and social media efforts
  • Interview potential clients to gather necessary information
  • Sell life insurance policies that pay out upon the death of the insured person
  • Sell annuities that provide income during retirement
  • Analyze clients' current financial portfolios and make recommendations
  • Assist clients with the claims process
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper records

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in financial services or related field
  • Must be licensed in the state where you work
  • Accredited with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)
