We are seeking a skilled industrial security specialist to maintain the security of our systems. Your tasks will include identifying and addressing security weaknesses, implementing security protocols, and ensuring the safety of our physical and digital assets.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet with stakeholders, management, and security teams to identify and define security needs.
  • Collaborate with security officers and personnel to create and implement security protocols and processes.
  • Create security manuals and provide training on security procedures.
  • Ensure that all security systems comply with NISPOM regulations.
  • Oversee the installation and updates of hardware and software systems.
  • Maintain security clearance databases, such as JPAS, DISS, and e-QIP.
  • Manage and supervise all security operations and processes.
  • Monitor and inspect physical and digital security systems for any vulnerabilities, risks, threats, or attacks.
  • Troubleshoot and address security flaws and implement effective solutions.
  • Evaluate contracts and security documents, such as DD 254 forms.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in security management, information technology, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience as an industrial security specialist.
  • Relevant clearances and certifications, such as Top Secret (TS) clearance and DoD Information Security Management certification.
  • A valid driver's license and passport.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and programs, such as LSMS, SIMS, and security databases.
  • Thorough understanding of NISPOM regulations.
  • Familiarity with security clearance systems, such as JPAS, DISS, and e-QIP.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel, work on weekends, and after hours.
