Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet with stakeholders, management, and security teams to identify and define security needs.
- Collaborate with security officers and personnel to create and implement security protocols and processes.
- Create security manuals and provide training on security procedures.
- Ensure that all security systems comply with NISPOM regulations.
- Oversee the installation and updates of hardware and software systems.
- Maintain security clearance databases, such as JPAS, DISS, and e-QIP.
- Manage and supervise all security operations and processes.
- Monitor and inspect physical and digital security systems for any vulnerabilities, risks, threats, or attacks.
- Troubleshoot and address security flaws and implement effective solutions.
- Evaluate contracts and security documents, such as DD 254 forms.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in security management, information technology, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience as an industrial security specialist.
- Relevant clearances and certifications, such as Top Secret (TS) clearance and DoD Information Security Management certification.
- A valid driver's license and passport.
- Proficiency in computer systems and programs, such as LSMS, SIMS, and security databases.
- Thorough understanding of NISPOM regulations.
- Familiarity with security clearance systems, such as JPAS, DISS, and e-QIP.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel, work on weekends, and after hours.
