We are looking for a hospital secretary to join our team. Your responsibilities will include scheduling patient appointments and procedures, handling patient billing and insurance claims, recording patient medical histories, and keeping track of supplies.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Answering phone calls and emails and taking messages accurately.
- Helping patients with paperwork and other administrative tasks.
- Scheduling and confirming medical appointments.
- Keeping patient information, such as personal details, medical history, and insurance information, organized and confidential.
- Processing patient bills and assisting with insurance claims.
- Maintaining a well-organized filing system.
- Scheduling staff meetings for doctors, nurses, and other medical team members.
- Keeping track of supplies and ordering more as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- At least two years of experience working in a medical office.
- Good understanding of medical terminology, processes, and practices.
- Familiarity with patient management software, such as RXNT and Kareo Billing.
- Excellent computer skills and ability to handle a large amount of medical data.
- Knowledge of medical billing procedures and health insurance policies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
