Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather and analyze financial information.
- Conduct audits on financial data to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure that financial information follows professional and regulatory standards.
- Align general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting.
- Enter financial data, such as accruals and deferrals, into the ledger and prepare reports.
- Analyze accounts to ensure correct journal entries and balances.
- Reconcile accounts with the general ledger.
- Maintain organized records and gather supporting documentation.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and accounting best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Preferred Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate.
- At least 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.
- Proficient in accounting and business management software, such as NetSuite and Zoho Books.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
- Attention to detail and strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
