Job Description

We are looking for candidates who are innovative, disciplined, and reliable. Contractors will be responsible for negotiating with subcontractors, obtaining building permits, managing waste and recycling, overseeing personnel and resources, visiting job sites, and maintaining records. They should have a good understanding of masonry, carpentry, framing, and plumbing, as well as excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing work teams, materials, and equipment
  • Inspecting the quality of work done by employees and subcontractors
  • Keeping accurate financial records
  • Applying for building permits and licenses
  • Monitoring schedules

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction science, building science, surveying, or construction safety
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction
  • Relevant license and bonds
  • Strong business and communication skills
  • Project management courses would be beneficial
  • Experience using project management software
